To provide a hyper tangible experience from inside the home, we pushed the landscape hard up to the property – provoking an instant sense of playfulness and curiosity as you pass through the threshold of the building. To achieve this, we used different species of advanced palms, Phoenix roebelenii and Archontophoenix alexandrae, which anchored the landscape. With their close proximity to the building, this creates a lovely interplay with the built form of the home.
